OpenTelemetry is the open standard for distributed tracing, metrics and logs.

OpenTelemetry is a vendor-neutral standard for instrumentation. Traces, metrics and logs flow through OTel SDKs to backends like Datadog, Honeycomb, New Relic or open-source ClickHouse-based stacks.
